A dark-fantasy survivor roguelike
Twenty minutes until dawn. Let the fire fall.
The fire is out and the woods are waking up. You only move: your spells cast themselves, every level-up is a choice, and by the last minutes you are a storm of fire, frost and steel carving through hundreds of monsters.
The Steam page is not live yet. Follow the devlog for the announcement.
PC (Windows) on Steam first. Controller and Steam Deck friendly. iOS and Android planned.
Captured in the game engine, no mock-ups. The full trailer arrives with the Steam page.

Gameplay capture: a late-night horde in the Ashen Wilds.
Easy to pick up, deep enough to chase one more run. Scroll through a night.

00:00
Every skill casts itself. Your job is positioning, reading the horde and picking the right card at every level-up.

04:00
Up to four cards, and a reroll when the draw is bad. Five skill slots, and every pick pushes your build toward a school of magic.

09:00
Max out a skill, own its catalyst, and the next chest Awakens it. Fireball becomes Ashfall, a rain of meteors. Lightning becomes Stormcaller.

12:00
Relics show up on your hunter: armor, blades, cloaks and charms change how you look as well as how you fight.

15:00
Thirteen bosses across three lands, each with shaped, telegraphed spells to dodge. Elites with deadly affixes rain gold when they fall.
20:00
Survive the twenty minutes and the night is yours: the next Ember unlocks. Or stay in the dark and see how long you last.
Each land has its own monsters, its own bosses and its own music. What hunts you in the marsh never sets foot in the catacombs.
Land I
Ash-grey heath, burnt groves and ruined chapels under a cold moon. The old roads still lead to the rune circle.
Bosses
Some of its monsters
Skeleton · Goblin · Orc · Demon · Vampire · Dragon

Land II
A black, flooded fen under low fog. Sickly lanterns burn over the pools and the shallows drag at every step.
Bosses
Some of its monsters
Mire Leech · Reed Stalker · Drowned Husk · Mire Siren · Brood Toad

Land III
An ossuary under the chapel: limestone halls, walls of skulls, candle shrines and soulfire braziers in the dark.
Bosses
Some of its monsters
Bone Archer · Revenant · Crypt Banshee · Tomb Ghoul · Bone Colossus

Thirteen bosses, each bound to its land, each with spells you learn to read. Pick one.

The Burning Terror
Spells
The red shape on the ground is the warning: step out before it lands.
Ashen Wilds
Drowned Marsh
Bone Catacombs
Each hunter starts with their own skill, a passive and a different body of stats. Unlock them with feats inside the run.
Last of the Ember Watch
A hooded hunter who walks the burnt roads alone, rune-saber low, scarf still smouldering.
Ash-Mother of Emberfall
She swings a censer of coals and sings the dead to flame. The ash obeys her.
The Wall That Does Not Thaw
A knight in rime-crusted plate who swore to hold the pass until the last winter.
She Who Hears the Thunder
Blindfolded, she reads the storm instead of the road, and the sky answers when she calls.
Mistress of the Crimson Court
An exiled duelist with a silver rapier and a pendant of blood-glass that is never empty.
Keeper of the Last Lantern
A gravedigger-priest with a lantern-headed spade. What he buries does not stay down.
Pick up to five skills and level them up. Stack a school of magic to wake its Resonance. Then Awaken your maxed skills into something monstrous.
A maxed skill plus its catalyst: the next chest turns it into its Awakened form. Flip a card to Awaken it.
Plus eight more to discover in the Codex.
Seven schools, three tiers each
